As many people have said, the Force doesn't have song mode and I don't even know if that's something that's planned for it. Force itself doesn't have any integrated software and it sort of just is what it is (that's not necessarily a bad thing). The MPC Live is married to the MPC Software, and can be loaded as a plugin. ![]() The Force is meant to be a more modern standalone music-making machine, that takes a lot of today's more popular features (clip launching, all-grid-everything) and attempts to distill them into one unit. Watch some videos and see which works best for you in your own current workflow, as they are considerably different. One major difference you'll find is the workflow. You're potentially going to spend $1200-1500 on a piece of gear that can be the brains of your setup, you probably should dig deep into the differences before you purchase. Not to be an RTFM-guy, but read the manuals for each. ![]()
